The City of Mountain House hosted the first annual Cultural Celebration at this summer’s last Music in the Park, Saturday, September 21st at Central Community Parke. The event celebrated the various cultures that make up the colorful fabric of our community.

Friends, neighbors, and fellow villagers came out to celebrate together at the summer's last Music in the Park of the “Summer in the OUR City!”

The main stage featured performances by the DAVID PEREZ BAND featuring Salsa, Merengue, and Cumbia and a unique Bollywood/Blues performer, AKI KUMAR. Additional performances on the side stage included a live DJ and performances from Aztec Dancers, Indian Marathi dancers, a Vietnamese lion, Filipino dancers, African drumming, a Chinese martial arts demonstration, Ballet Folklorico dancers and Bollywood dancers on our Performance Stage.

The event also had various food vendors serving American burgers, Tex-Mex, Italian ice, and more. Attendees found unique gifts at one of the craft vendors selling handmade jewelry, gemstones, charms, henna, and art pieces. Kids got their wiggles out in the KIDZ Zone featuring their favorite jump houses.
